yes you could still get an erection, that part is in the mind. what the castrastion does is lower the persons desire for sex. they will produce LESS testosterone, which is the horomone responsible for the sex drive. they will still produce it, but just less of it..and of course no sperm.

I'm not 100% sure but I once read a book about a man that did a rape and asked to be castrated. The only problem was that he continued to get erections. If I remember correctly (AND I DO) he still had a strong desire for sex and thought about woman often. He may be a one in a billion case but he's still a case.
Like other people said. I don't see why you couldnt get one. I imagine you would still wake up with one. It is in the brain not the balls.
