Why can your body sleep well during the workweek, but not so well on the weekend!

It has to do with your bodies circadian rhythm. It is not that you actually sleep better during the week it is that you do not have time to think about "augh, just one more hour of sleep please" You will actually feel more rested and haev a more productive weekend if you keep your sleep schedule consistant. But you know it is the weekend, catch a nap after the game.

You body wants to do stuff on the weekend when you have the time.

This can be a reaction to stress sometimes. An example is many high powered executives are working up until the time they leave for a holiday 50-60 hrs per week, only to get very sick once they finally stop. The body will not do much repairing when stressed so when the stop finally comes..bang. I have seen this many times. Could this be the case for you?
