My doctor said my baby was measuring large during my ultrasound, what does this!

I know when i got pregnant but she said i was 3 wks ahead of where i am at and said that i will have a c-section.

A baby "measuring large" during an ultrasound only means that your baby is larger than the statisical data that exists for a fetus of whatever weeks gestation was reached at the time of the ultrasound. Your baby may or may not "slow down" it's growth. Your doctor will no doubtedly keep an eye on this with occasional ultrasounds in the future. I wouldn't worry about it until the time comes, as to having a C-Section or not. Besides, what can you do about it? You'll choose the method that is the least risky for your baby, right? Don't get scared. It means that your baby will be a large baby and you will need a C-section. This happened to me. I am 5 foot 1 inch and I was weighing 110. When I got pregnant, I went to 170. Watch for an aching back. When it was time for me to have my son, I couldn't dilate so I was having labor pains but in my back. I had to have an emergency C-section. My son weighed 8 pounds and was 22 inches long. The C-section was better than having him natural. Most likely you're going to have a large baby. My doctor said that my baby was big when he did the sonogram but I wouldn't have to have a c-section. I'm 5'9 and my baby weighed 8 lbs, 2 ozs.
