It's not, they are one in the same. Your body absorbs different sustances differently, that's for sure, but any antibiotic, whether its pill form or liquid, the absorbtion time is the same. When your body is "absorbing" any medicine that means that it is going into your kidneys, liver, small intestine and large intestine, any major organs first to help fight with your immune system then attcks the infection with a stronger immune system. If you mean how fast it reaches your blood stream, that is because with pills, your stomach has to digest it and then it's distributed throughout your bloodstream, with a suspension, it's basically already broken down so once it gets into your stomach, it's already being absorbed into your blood stream. The same goes for pain killers, allergy relief meds, heart meds, anything.
