I don't know the details of your back pain (e.g. duration, history of trauma, your age, gender), so i can't tell what's wrong with it. Hope this helps.

Usually, tingling sensation, numbness, pins and needles and burning sensation are signs of neurological problems.

In your case, i think it is your back pain that is causing the problem. Maybe you are having a disc prolapse that is compressing on the spinal nerve. This can lead to the signs described above at various locations of the leg, depending on which nerve the prolapsed disc is compressing. Example, if the signs are located at the lateral (outer) side of the thigh, then it is caused by compression of the lateral cutaneous nerve of the thigh.

Consult your doctor if you have any doubt. They are the professional. I'm not.

Other Answers:
Sounds like what i have;a pinched nerve. See your doctor. They sent me to therapy and gave me anoption for surgery.

find the nearest Sports Medicine Clinic. Your hips may be out of alignment. If that is the problem then it will take about six min. to fix it these days. Used to take 3 months or more. If not the problem, look at all things sciatica and get to your local bone crusher/orthopedic to diagnose&treat. Good luck

See a doctor, especially if you are a woman. Heart attack in women many times starts out as a back ache and the symptoms develop a lot slower than in men.

THAT BURNING MUST BE GOOD WHEN YOU ARE BURIED IN SNOW

Sounds like sciatic nerve.
