ok so how do i look femine in an afo?!

you see i am struggling with that, i want to look good in a dress, not matronlyi want to still be sexy but how, yes i am pleased that i can stillwalk with the afo for my drop foot, im blessed but i also feel frustrated and i feel less then whole as a woman. while all the other women wear high heals like i used too, i wear long pants to hide my big afo, what shoes can possibly look flattering,and speaking of shoes wear do i get them ,so they fit my afo and my normal foot without having to buy 2 pairs. i hate being like this, i cant even collect disability because i was a stay at home mom who never put in to the disability or social security , so they say i have to go on my husbands income which is to high to get either, so im disable but cant get any assistance . so i cant afford to be trying out all kinds of shoes and afos and stuff. a little more about me,i have 3 herniated disc L3-L5 and they have given me 3 epidurals, last year. work good thank god. i had steroid shot in foot yestu

Check with the office that made the AFO to begin with. There are many different kinds to pick from. You may not be able to wear high heels but there are cute shoes that would work with the AFO. There are even some that could work under panty hose. Check with an orthotics specialist. Good luck
