a tick

a tic
Be very careful when removing them. If you pull it out and leave the head in yourhead it can cause an infection. To remove get tweezers and apply pressure to it so that it just comes out by itself. These can cause Rocky Mountain Tick Fever, but usually they just look ugly.

A tick is an arachnid.
The bug would probably be a mosquito.

Actually, I'm just assuming that, by bug, you mean an insect as opposed to an arachnid, wherein would lie the quiz of the question. (A trick which would lie in my favor.)

Oh, wait, i didn't read the rest of your question.

It was tannish? And burrowing? Sounds like either a tick or some kind of very small mole. Or even a tiny naked mole-rat.

But seriously, if it's a tick, that grey crap is it's swolling abdomen, make POSITIVELY SURE you see his head when you pluck the bastard out, and get yourself checked for Lime Disease.

TICK. Most likely a deer tick

could be a tick, or maybe head lice. i do know that ticks try to burrow inside the skin.if it is a tick, try to pull it out, make sure you get the head of the bug, otherwise the head will stayed burrowed and will be harder to get out. You might want to try to put rubbing alcohol on it so the bug won't be holding so tight. be careful, some ticks can cause death.
