Hey everyone whats better for lifting weight.many reps with low weight or little!

Question:
i always done littel reps with high weights? why and how does it affect this??
Answers:
Fewer Reps with High Weight -> Muscle Size

Med Reps with Med Weight -> Muscle Strength

More Reps with Less Weight -> Muscle Lean

Focusing just on any one of these will have limited effects. For example aiming for Muscle Size alone will result in loss of size if you change your pattern. Healthy weightlifting schedules balance weight/rep ratio according to a planned pattern.

in my p.e class they say you should be able to do 10 on the weight your using

Depending on your experience!
1)Beginners should use light weight with high reps, in which will condition your muscle for stress
2)Moderate exercisers should cycle between low weight/high reps and moderately heavy weight/low reps
3)Experience weightlifters(3x/week for at least 6 months) should cycle moderate weight/high reps and heavy weight/low reps

Guys and girls bodies go through testro/estro cycles every month.try to target your heavy weights around the highest point in testro/estro you can.and maintaining every month

There will always be times that you lift more one week than the other. The week you fill rested and strong is probaly your high point in testro/estro.

Depends, are you trying to build mass or endurance? For mass you want high weight little reps. for toning and endurance you want low weight and many reps.

depends on how to build ur body..
heavy wt---size
light wt----sharpness

doing a mix is the best to acheive maximum shape and size.i mix it up during the week and usually do about one power training day a week per body part.the reason to do this is that when you do high rep training alot of the muscle size is from water retention and glycogen storage so you need to do power training to acheive the maximum in muscle size and high rep training for shape.also when you do only high rep training then you joints are not going to be strong like with power training.so mix it up for best results
