how can i get motivated to work out every day?!


Question:
it's not like i'm fat or anything.. but before i used to work out everyday, the problem is i always find things that i'd rather be doing, so then i stopped..

and another problem is, i always eat when i'm bored, it's a bad habit..how can i break this?

the only way to do it is really to just get up and start working out, after forcing yourself to get up and do it after a while it will become habit. A work out Buddy helps too, you can help keep each other at it.

for the eating thing, I am the same way, I got myself a pile of canned pineapple bits or oranges or something.. I figure its better then stuffing my face with other crap, also drink water during this time.

You just have to force yourself into a routine. Sometimes having a friend to workout with helps (you can motivate each other).

look at pitures of nicole richie and get your butt back into the routine of working out

music could definitely help. Put on a CD or your fav. radio station.

If I had the answer to that I would be a rich woman!

One of my friends told me that what helps her is just realizing she is happier when she is working out regularly.

look in the mirror and ask yourself..DO I NEED TO??..as I always find that the answer is YES.then I just do it.mind you .working in a gym helps. :-)

go with your friends, some friends that work out. regularly then you will be pushed to do as they do, peer pressure.

I have 4 kids and needed to start working out and i quit thinking about it and just started doing it.Bring music with you and it starts to be fun.

music motivates me alot , if you eat cause your bore , eat fruits , or something healthy or healthy snacks are good too. give you energy !

You know what I was the same way I swear and then I started working out one day here one day there so I promised that I will just get in my car and drive up there and when I get there I had no chioce but to work out so what I'm saying is just go even if you don't want and watch what happens it worked for me.

I have a very big appetite but that is a very good thing as I weight lift, maybe you should to. Unless you are female, also if you lack motivation it means you don't care enough.

i would imagine myself looking like a blob if i don't go to the gym and see what might be if i did go, so there if that can't motivate me i'd push myself to go anywhere near it then decide to go on anyways, and limbering up while on the way

YEA IT IT'S A BAD HABIT. YOU'LL GET BIGGER EATING WHEN YOU GET BORED. TRY LOOKING AT SOME SEXY BODIES TO MOTIVATE YOU TO WANT TO GET LIKE THEY ARE. MAKE SOME TIME FOR ABOUT 10-20 MIN A DAY.YOU'LL GET BACK USE TO IT JUST AS I DID.

Set small goals. For example decide to walk around the block and do it. Andm the next day decide to walk a little further. Find something you like doing. If you say you are going to do 100 tummy crunches, but you hate doing crunches you won't do them. Also, work exercise into your day -- park far from the store, take the stairs, walk your dog at the park, go to the zoo or someplace you have to walk around instead of going out for lunch. If you know you snack when you are bored have healthy snacks ready. That way you won't grab a bag of chips.

Well I guess, workout all alone is not possible, even You are quite young. Its quite boring job.

If I were in Your place I would have tried to persuade my friend to start workout session with me, that way be both can motivate each other for it.

As for the eating disorder, DON'T get bored.

Have someone stand in front of you while you workout. Their presence will ensure that you finish your workout, because they'll be holding a bag of chips and a soda that you can only have, if you completely do every exercise you're supposed to!

basic human instinct strive for perfection. you could try boxing(either a bag or preferably somebody else)after a while you'll be in great shape and be able to fight

I think it works better if you'll just put into your schedule to go to gym every day. Seems that you've been doing it for a while. Maybe evenings are not good for you because you always meet with your friends? Then pick another time of the day. I just think that's it important not to leave a choice for oneself. Just do it everyday, unless your job is "fitness instructor".
And about food: try not to be bored with anything then! If you're not 80 years old, you can change yourself a little bit.

Find someone who would work out with and motivate you at the same time. Make sure that person loves to work out. Or you can go to the YMCA and get a trainer.

Motivation generally comes with results. The more result we see the more disire we have to train. I am at 6% body fat right now with is great but there are times when i lean on others for motivation. When in the gym i key off of those who train hard and draw from their energy so to speak.

The glory is, for an individual who has never trained or has stopped for a length of time, when they get back to the gym they see all kinds of result in the first two month before they begin to plateu.

Bottom line. Just do it and the motivation will follow.
