Remember, you have to run slowly enough to sustain your running. A workout that is begun too fast, will be over before you know it, not by your choice either!!
Consider taking walk breaks at first. 5 minute run\jog, 30 second walk. This will build your endurance. Build up to 10 minute run 1 minute walk.
Read books on running, they can be very boring, but extremely helpful in getting started. Read books by Jeff Galloway, Hal Higdon, Joe Henderson, or my favorite if you are a real beginner, John Bingham. Good luck..
