I really like the big work out balls. You know the ones that you pump up. They are nice because you can really target the area that you want to work on. That is much harder when you are doing just plain old sit ups and they really don't cost that much. Also take a look at the site below for some really good weight loss programs and supplements to help out as well. Good luck either way and spend the couple bucks and get a work out ball!!

You can't spot-reduce fat. You either reduce it around your whole body, or you don't reduce it at all. To burn fat, you have to do more than 20 minutes of exercise at 80% of your heart rate. This is the most important thing I can possibly tell you; keep this in mind, because I'll come back to it in a minute.

Drink more water. At first, this is counterintuitive, since you will probably gain weight at first. But drinking water helps your body flush out waste products, which is necessary when you're exercising. Just be sure to drink more water than you think you need.

Keep exercising. Don't give up. It's a lot of work, but it's the only real way to get the job done. There is no such thing as a miracle diet.

One pound of fat contains 3500 calories. If you do 20 minutes of exercise at 80% of your heart rate, you still haven't burned any fat calories. If you do another 20 minutes of cardio at that pace, then you just burned about 66-70% of that energy as fat. So if you burn 250 calories of fat in that 20 minutes, it will take you two weeks of exercise at that rate to burn that fat directly. The good news is that your metabolism has momentum, and if you keep its momentum up, it will automatically continue to burn fat until you eat again. Don't wait too long to eat though, because your body will be breaking down your muscle tissue for energy during that time too.

Stick with a diet that is around your recommended. Don't try to cut too many calories, or you'll just end up with health problems. Very important: eat natural foods as often as possible. Try to spread your food out throughout the day, instead of eating three or so large meals. By eating smaller meals, you will get less hungry less often, in addition to having a better-regulated metabolism.

I once went from 225 lbs to 165 lbs doing the above. Now I'm 172 and in fantastic shape. I'm also a biological science major.

Do crunches while holding your legs up in a right angle. You can also lay on the floor and hold you legs straight up in the air then reach the top part of your body up to try to touch your toes. Those exercises will only tone your muscle, if you want to lose fat, you will have to combine your target exercises with some sor of cardio, like walking running, spinning. That's what actually makes you lose fat.

Controlled diet - Eat in moderation (avoid fresh cream cakes, Instead, eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables = 5 portions a day are recommended)

and

Varied exercise routine : Sit ups, Swimming, Running + Specific abdominal exercises [ref 3]

There is something called Reverse Crunches. You lie on your back with legs together and straight up in the air, and while supporting your head/neck by placing your hands under them, you lift your butt (legs are already up there) off the floor by contracting your lower stomach muscles. Be careful to only contract your lower abs so you don't strain your neck muscles (there is a tendency to try to pull your upper body off of the floor, and you must resist this!). Do reps of 8 at a time. My friend did these and completely flattened her stomach after having a Cesarean birth in her 40's!

Depending upon the size of ur tummy u can decide what type of exercise u can do.First of all i want to know ur total body weight.Accordingly i can design a schedule card which u can follow for doing exercise.

1.Lower Abs crunches.
2.Reverse crunches.
3.Leg raises
4.Jogging
5.Aerobics.

There are two key ingredients.number one, a good fat burner( XLA or ripped fuel) are good..number two, leg lifts, lie flat on your back bring your legs no more then 3 to 5 inces off the floor, sets of 25 at least three sets a day. Give it about 2 weeks and you'll notice a big improvment

There is no way, let alone a 'best way'. Except for surgery.

So keep on doing that cardio and diet, and cross your fingers and hope your body will eventually use your 'lower tummy' fat. Be careful, it might never.

i'd say crunches and leg lifts.i do 32 of each every day and they really seem to help! good luck!
