I absolutely prefer the NEW sanitary belts - here's why - and who else is using!
Question:
Just started using the new lacy ones with the thin pads and they are terrific! What other ladies are using them now?
- Hold in place, don't move around like stick ons in your panties.
- Won't kill you. 1200 women died in 2005 from tampon use.
- Fits closer to the body, held UP by the comfy belt.
- Won't stick to your pubes (ouch!) like the stickies
- Won't stick to itself and fold up.
- Feels and fits like a thong, shows no lines under clothes.
- Pads are thin and made special to fit the belt.
- Belts come in sizes and colors now - like lingerie
- Great under pantyhose w/o undies - esp. in summer.
Would love to hear from other women using them. They sell them like crazy on ebay.

Where on Earth did you get the number of people who died from using tampons?? It's completely BULL!!
For one thing, Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS) can be caused by just about anyting - including minor scrapes and bug bites. Most of the people who get TSS from using tampons get it because they were stupid and left it in for hours upon hours at a time.
"Schlievert's research found that for every 100,000 women who use tampons, three to four develop toxic shock syndrome in any given year. And if detected early enough, the condition can be treated."

They still make Sanitary belts? Holey Shirola. They made those when my mom was young! don't you bleed over the sides? Have you ever heard of a Menstrual Cup? It's a little thingy you stick inside to catch the menses and you only have to change it every 12 hours. No chance of TSS and it's reusable, good for the environment!
