Do I have body lice?!

Question:
I moved into this room and the previous owner wasn't exactly clean ( i found that out much later after i moved in). I got some bites and i thought it was bed bugs and threw out my old mattress. Got a new one. Did a lot of washing of clothes ( except my winter clothes and tops that i have never worn that are hanging in the closet). I always feel that there is something crawling in my clothes and its super annoying! I no longer get bitten on the arm and the last bites are around my chest and on my chin and jawline. I can feel movement in my socks and wherever my clothes are, i feel something. Its not a big crawl but u know something is there! Sometimes i feel little mosquito like bites. Please tell me its not body lice and if so, what should i do? Can they spread to my hair? Most of the time, i feel it around my feet and ankles and knee and leg areas around my jeans. I did the flea check with the light and water and nothing was caught.

Doesn't sound like crabs at all. Generally you'd be able to see them anyways, and they don't leave the body.

It could possibly be body lice though. They live & lay their eggs in the seams of clothes. Like a flea, they drink blood. Washing your clothes in hot water & drying them on high kills them.

Could it simply be allergies? I know that sounds too simple, but skin allergies are very itchy & cause hives.

I would bug bomb the room. Could be some kind of mite or lice. If the bug bombing on the room does not help then go to the doctor.

I watched something on TV about bedbugs, and they showed the bedbugs hiding in the skirting boards during the day. They had to get someone in to spray the skirting boards and every recess, as well as the mattress.

You also might be allergic to dust mites and probably the only way to get rid of them would be to steam clean your carpets.

I've never had body lice, but I imagine they are visible to the naked eye seeing as hair lice and fleas are visible.

Aah, fleas. Maybe your carpets are housing fleas. I had this problem once, and I tried poison sprays and much vaccuuming, but the only thing that totally got rid of the fleas was cat flea powder which I sprinkled liberally and left for a few days.

you might of caught scabbies from the former owner if you do have that you will have them the dr will give you some cream you will have to put all over your body and i mean all over do you have arash with these bites? call a dr let me know if this works or not
