Has anyone out there lost a substantial amount of weight by walking a couple of!


Question:
If so, how much did you lose and in what time frame. I just want to know if I start walking like 2 miles a day everyday, or at least 4-5 times a week, how much weight i can lose, and in what time frame.
Answers:
I lost 30 lbs. in 2 months walking two miles a day. Best if you walk at least 4 or 5 days a week. Watch your carb intake. No bread or potatoes.

A brisk (fast paced walk) is the best for losing weight (Out of walking), Any exercise will help you lose weight but a good diet matters just as much, Without a good diet exercise won't help much, Write down the calories of everything you eat for one day and then the next day eat 500 calories less and do exercise on top of that, Eat 5 servings of fruit a day this is VERY important, You need fruit because it has natural sugar which is the only food that provides natural energy so if you eat 5 servings of fruit a day you will have enough energy to excercise so the question of which excercise is "easiest" no longer exists and you will shed those pounds like crazy, I lost 60 pounds!

It depends on your starting weight. I lose about 15 pds a month with a good walking schedule, just make sure you walk fast enough to really get your heart rate up.
