Hair color won't take-used bleach to remove brown home color-used Color Silk Dk!

Question:
Need to color my hair at home. Can't afford salon anymore. Removed Nice N Easy Lt. Ash Brown w/bleach from Sally Beauty. Applied Color Silk Med. Ash Blonde. Color nothing at all as expected. Then, applied Color Silk Dk Blonde and color didn't take at all. Can't describe color result really -- very light, not blonde, no brown/dk blonde AT ALL. Not a color I can wear either. Why won't/didn't color take? What should I do? Would color take if I bought another darker brown color? I'd rather have a med/dark blonde result (was born blonde, now lots of gray) but I will go another round with a light or med brown if you think it would give me an actual color. Any advice w/b much appreciated. Thanks
Answers:
your hair might just be too dry to hold the color.
you should wait At Least 2 weeks between colorings, and if you do color your hair that close together, you should use shampoo/conditioner made for extreme dry hair and color treated hair. After using bleach, i would wait even longer because that is really harsh on your hair.

Call the beautician and explain.maybe she can help, and knows what you did so you can undo it.

first mistake anything with ash in it will turn your hair darker then you want it i have a dark brown and I used it and was going light brown it turned my hair so black it had a blue tint to it i cried for hours,i have a lot of gray and i can't go pay $80.00 dollars every time to color mine so i know where your coming from i hope this little bit helped..

Call the makers of Corn Silk -- there is usually a 1-800 number on the package. Most hair color manufacturers have technicians on hand to help answer questions like yours and offer advice.

Remember, your hair can only take so many chemical attacks before it will burn, crunch or break. Give it time to recover between treatments -- and treat your hair to a deep conditioning. Good luck!

First off, color will not lift color. Probably what happened was the color you put on your hair after you bleached it was lighter than your hair. Does that make sense? I would just put highlights in it and gradually make your hair more blonde. Bleach is not good to use especially all over the scalp. Hope everything works out
