Yes. Fat people should have to stand outside while they eat their candy bars.
Yes. Obese people need to start to understand that it is not healthy to remain obese, and should seek medical help if necessary to overcome it.
No one is born obese.
Smoking is 100% optional. Eating isn't.
But I've often said if I had to eat standing up outside in all weather the way smokers have to smoke, I'd probably be thin.
Another reason to compare the two is the recent debates over whether obese people can sue fast food restaurants and food manufacturers the way smokers with cancer sue tobacco companies. I recently wrote a 3 part article on this on my blog.
