how to get big pecks(chest)?!

Question:
work out routines
Answers:
Don't listen to that other person re: reps. If you want to bulk and build muscle than you should do less reps, more weight. If you want to lose fat, then you should do less weight, more reps. So 6-8 reps should be effective for you in bulking up your chest. You just need to make sure that you're lifting the absolute largest amount of weight than you can manage to lift without hurting yourself and still completing your reps..

Other Answers:
Bench press usually in reps of 5-8. That's probably the most effective way to increase chest muscle size. Also losing body fat will add to the effect of making your chest look bigger because the rest of your body looks smaller.

chest presses!! duh

Work out your upper body. DON'T TAKE STEROIDS. Get your muscles by hard work.

5-8 reps is not close to effective at all. You need to be starting out at 8-12 reps when you first start training on the bech brench press. once you feel comfortable with the lift move down to reps of 6-8 with heavy weight. Also try essentric lifting. it is used by nebraska football to help their players gain massive amounts on their bench press.

Another effective alternative is to do push-ups, and you can do them right at home. One work-out I like is to do 40 take 40 seconds rest, then 30 with 30 seconds rest, then 20 with 20 seconds rest and then 10 with 10 seconds rest. If this is too easy increase the quantities or decrease the quantities if it is too difficult. At the end of this work out your pecs will feel the burn. That translates to muscle growth.
