How do I get rid of my anxiety and depression?!

SAM-E works very good if you dont have prescription medicine. If you get prescription meds then go with either Zoloft, or Wellbutrin XL. Also, take the vitamin B-Complex. It also works well to fight depression.

Well a lot of people would reccomend meds but that doesn't ease the pain. I don't know your situation but what you could do is take your self, just yourself, and go for a walk. Don't take music or anything but find a nice quiet place and just walk. Listen to your footsteps and take it slow. Don't worry about how you look or anything, just focus on taking each step. And if a few tears fall thats ok.

Go to a psychiatrist. I was very depressed must mostly having anxiety attacks and paranoia. They put me on lexapro and I reccomend it. Basically, if you are clinically depressed, you can't beat it without medication.

If possible try and determine what is causing your depression and anxiety.

Typically, but not limited to these causes are: stress, trauma, chemical imbalance or allergies. I would first try and get checked for food or environmental allergies. Avoid caffeine. If stress related, you might try Kava Kava or Valerian Root from a health food store (but only under a doctors supervision if your on any medications!)Try relaxation techniques. If you had some serious injury or have a serious chemical imbalance you should seek a medical doctors help. May you find the answers you need!

Have you seen a professional about this? Check with your doctor He/She can help. I know because I had the same problem and counseling and medication made all the difference in the world. Now I am Happy most of the time.

Try Prozac, or Paxil. Better yet, see a psychiatrist.

Depression and anxiety are a more common problem than people realize. For my depression I take Prozac.there are a lot of prescription drugs that will help.Zoloft..Paxil.just to name a couple.. I also have severe anxiety attacks..they get so severe sometimes if it were not for my medication I would probably be a hermit in my home!! For that I take Xanax..it helps a lot..I do not take it every day.only when my anxiety is really bad. It always helps to talk.to a friend..a family member.your doctor.or even a psychologist or psychiatrist if you have those options. I write a lot.that also helps me..when I write down what I am feeling and go back and read it I can sometimes make sense of all that is bothering me! Hope this helps you some!!
