I used one that was 10 years old or more that I had from highschool and it worked fine. Im sure they have legal reasons for putting expiritory dates on everything now though.

Not much unless it is years old. My wife could never afford to get new ones. She would use them for a long time, even after they were out of date. They helped every time.
It just wouldn't work as well. and maybe taste funny, but that's about it.
