Actually, prescriptions for all kinds of corrective lenses lasts for two years, considering that the corrective lenses are not disposable. If you wear disposable contacts, your prescription will last as long as the doc signs it for or until it no longer is effective in correcting your sight.
well if your asking what i think your asking your eye perscription and the amount of time depends on your age and heritage. The younger you are the sooner you need to go in. Or just go in when your eyes start to bug you. and if you have contacts make sure they are clean before you waste your money on a doctors appt.
