embarrasment problem?!
Question:
How many other girls (and guys as well) have this problem and do you even get over it? I've lived with my boyfriend for 3 years and I am still not comfortable enough to use the bathroom / "take a crap" when he's home. I can only do this if he's in bed and I'm awake hours before him or if he's not home and not expected home for awhile. I'm afraied that he'll hear me or that the bathroom will smell and he'll be very turned off and disgusted by me. Instead I just hold it in and refuse to go, therefore put up with stomach pains, etc. This is natural, everyone takes a crap, so how do I get over this?! My sister is the same way, so we must not be the only 2 people who are embarrased by this.

me and my fiancee often stand outside the door (while its open) and have vivid conversations.until he wipes his behind or the smell is too much to bare.then im gone.i close the door on him when its time for me to wipe though LOL! a girls gotta have SOME kind of privacy!

i had the same problem before we got married but once we got married, i wasn't embarrassed anymore. however i don't pass gas in front of my husband and we've been together for over seven years!!
Does he take a crap when you're home? I really don't think he'll judge you because everyone has to do it. I'd be more concerned about holding it in for that long because that is really unhealthy.
Thats like me only I don'[t live with my boyfriend I am afaid when my friends are over or familly will hear me get some air freshener that helps it'[s natural to go crap so don't hold it it hurts to hold it. oo gotta go!!
Try using aromatic/scented candles in the bathroom. Use a deoderiser. Also make sure that the door is closed :-) and flush 2 or 3 times. You can even spray a strong perfume all around if you are really worried.
Another drastic way to get rid of the smell, is to pour some bleach/toilet cleaning agent into the toilet bowl and shut lid.
The important thing to remember is that it is your home too and if you can't just be completely natural even in your own house, then it's a pity. Also if your boyfriend is not embarrased to use the bathroom when you are around, then you shouldn't be either. Good luck.
Does he go while your home? Are you turned off? After three years, I assume this is a pretty secure relationship so why don't you talk to him about it. If you feel you can't do that, when you have to go, close the door, run the bathroom fan while you're in there and keep an air freshener handy and spray it before you leave the bathroom. I keep a can of freshener on the tank lid for anyone that might use my bathroom in case they are afraid of "leaving a stink". Unless this guy is so obbsessed with your every move, I doubt he notices much when you step into the bathroom for a few minutes so loosen up (no pun inteded) and let your body do what it is designed to do.
