this is what i did..everytime i caught myself doing it i would slap myself on the head..kinda weird but it worked..

Just dont eat it, it doesnt digest, it takes ten years for it to digest.

My neighbor had a family member who did this and they said it was a nervous disorder. There is a specific name for it, but I don't know it. Sorry. The good news is, she was able to break her habit. Ask your MD about it. You're not alone.

you should not doing it. Why would you destroy your own body? Try to do something positive.

Maybe it's Trichotillomania.
People often start compulsive hair-pulling around the ages of 12-13; although it is not uncommon for it to start at a much younger or older age. Frequently, a stressful event can be associated with the onset, such as: change of schools, abuse, family conflict, or the death of a parent. The symptoms also may be triggered by pubertal hormonal changes.

I hope this helps you out. Good luck.

Well my friend bites her nails alot so she always has a chopstick to bite on instead. So maybe you can get a wig to pull hair out of instead.

its this problem called Trichotillomania,a type of psychological condition that involves strong urges to pull hair. The condition is fairly rare - statistics show it affects only 1% to 3% of the population, although new research suggests that the rate of hair pulling may be around 10% or higher.

Trichotillomania affects about twice as many girls as guys. Most people who have trichotillomania develop the condition during adolescence. But it can start when a person is as young as 1 year old.
