Is it safe to go swimming in the pool when your pregnant?!

Question:
They always say you can't go in a hot tub because of the chemicals, what about in the pool? Don't they put a lot of chlorine in it too?
Answers:
Actually, the reason you aren't supposed to go in the hot tub when you are pregnant is because of the increase in body temperature that it causes. It can be dangerous for a developing unborn baby. It is safe to go swimming during pregnancy.

Other Answers:
It's the temperature in the hot tub that is the concern, not the chemicals. If you're not sure, check with your doctor just to be on the safe side and put your mind at ease.
