Smokeless tobacco is also called snuff, or chewing tobacco. Generally it is cured differently than cigarette tobacco as it is allowed to stay moist. (unless its scotch snuff which is then dried and turned into a fine powder). It is generally placed between the cheek and gums of the mouth. I am a user and I DO NOT RECOMMEND STARTING. I've been a user for 16 yrs and wish I had never started.
It's chewing tabacco, it contains tar and nicotine you just don't smoke it, you chew it and it's really disgusting.
There is three different types of smokeless tobacco. Snuff is a fine powder that can be snorted through the nose or placed in the gums, Dip (slang) is a rougher cut the goes inbetween the teeth and gums, and then chew which is a long cut or strands of tobacco that is put in your cheek and chewed on to release the effects.
