Positive experience with Anti-Depressants??!

Question:
Are there any adults out here who have been taking anti-depressants responsibly (w/o up-dosing) for a while and have had a positive experience with them, in conjuction with psycho therapy? Thanks!
Answers:
I have been on antidepressant for about 10 years and have had nothing but a good experience. It only goes bad when I might forget to take them for several days in a row. Then I start to feel bad again. I would definately recommend them to someone who has been diagnosed with depression by a psychiatrist and is being closely monitored.

Other Answers:
you get 100 percent dependant on them like the last response, but that is the effect with certain cases. If you are in a situation where you have the option to deal with depression without drugs, then explore that.

We as humans have what we need in terms of resources and inner strength to deal with depression naturally. You need to make sure you se someone to deal with the EMOTIONAL CAUSES of depression. Drugs do not tackle these.

Good luck and best wishes to you both.
