Absolutly, there can be phobias for anything, at anytime, some are just experianced in degreees. Eg: dark, small spaces, locked doors.. etc. I don't know the exact name for the fear of mail however.
aapparently not i just went through a page that had a list of phobias and i can't find anything about mail. i got the page down there, u may be able a good slang term for mail. mail itself isn't there

yes there is i am sorry i am not sure of the name. but the phobia has to parts, one part is soemone has the extreme fear of getting bad news so they are afraid of reading it. the other, also most common, is they are afraid that will be some kind of disease or poisin in the mail. so are afraid to open it some have specail devises to open it and some have someone else check and open the mail for them to make sure they can touch it. it can be sometimes really serious.
