Does anyone get ever cured from IBS (IrritableBowelSyndrome)?!

I've been suffering from IBS since 2002, has anyone got cured before? or you live with it forever?what's the best cure for it?

I have had Crohn's disease for 12 yrs. and I am now in what Dr.'s call remission because there is no cure only medication to help with symptons,watch what you eat and don't over do it.Good luck and my prayers are with you.If you need to talk pinksatin1627@yahoo.com

My friend has that and his doctor has him take Zantac 150 and eat a bunch of fiber and he seems to be doing pretty well.
Stop eating so much chilli and junk food.
My bowels get irritable too when I eat lots of pizza and bourbon.
My wife has been dealing with IBS for a long time. Her best solution is really watch what she eats and a good fiber source (I believe Benefiber works for her). I havent' heard of any cures.

Nope but with the right medication it can be controlled.
I am not a doctor but I seem to remember hearing from somebody I know that IBS can be at least greatly improved by taking junk food out of your diet and eating mostly raw and natural food.

I think they can, but it's not easy. Sometimes it turns into, or is diagnosed as Chrohn's. Not funny.
im 27 ive had it since i was a baby you just have to watch witch foods cause it and avoid them
