Question:

Answers:
not that i should advise on this matter i have 5 kids, 22-15 i found i.u.d. caused more problems than they are worth Son no 3 is the result of an i.u.d the implants are good but again they have their own problems, my friend gets an injection every 3 mths and she thinks its great, 6 yrs now, the pill is ok for a lot of people, and most people can take it with no problems, i would talk to my doctor or nurse at the family planning clinic, they can take you through all the pros and cons, with an i.u.d. you can get a lot of bleeding and bad cramps and are more prone to a pevlic infection, if all else fails do what i do now, keep your knees together, (only joking,) good luck with whatever you decide to go with

Other Answers:
Because of a heart condition, I cannot use hormone pills. Because of Chemo I can't become pregnant, so the doctor order me to use the Mirena IUD. The Pro's of this IUD are very slight and infrequent periods. The con's are the insertion and removal are as uncomfortable as bad cramps.

Personal experience.

I personally think birth control pills together with condoms are the best methods. Planned parenthood has an awesome website on all different kinds of family planning methods.
