Don take sugar!

The first goals are to eliminate the symptoms and stabilize your blood glucose levels. The ongoing goals are to prevent long-term complications and prolong your life. The primary treatment for type 2 diabetes is exercise and diet.

LEARN THESE SKILLS

You should learn basic diabetes management skills. They will help prevent complications and the need for medical care. These skills include:

How to test and record your blood glucose (see blood glucose monitoring)
What to eat and when
How to take medications, if indicated
How to recognize and treat low and high blood sugar
How to handle sick days
Where to buy diabetes supplies and how to store them
It may take several months to learn the basic skills. Always continue to educate yourself about the disease and its complications, as well as how to control and live with diabetes. Over time, stay current on new research and treatment.

Marijuana lowers your blood sugar, which is why people often get the "munchies" after smoking or ingestion. But its illegal. what a bummer!

No more sweet food/drinks.
eat less carbohydrates and more vegetables.

Eat protein and fibrous carbs (veggies) and reduce your starch and sugars, and exercise every day. Don't drink alcohol.

dont eat too much fatty sugars and take regular exercise

Lol..marijuana destroys both your mental and physical health pretty quickly. A fact obvious to everyone except those stoned out of their minds. If anything it raises your blood pressure, not lowers it. Not the issue. It DRAMATICALLY increases the rate of heart disease and heart attack in people..just one of many, many, MANY negative things it does to your health. This should be obvious. Just look at the population of drug addicts. Do they look healthy? Haha.nope.duh. Also, the "munchies" aren't related to any change in blood pressure. They are a side effect of having the healthy neurotransmitters in your brain stripped, by the drug. Your body desperately seeks out nourishment to repair itself..not exactly a good sign.also, duh.

Anyway, the trick to controlling your blood pressure without drugs is to remove the things in your diet that cause your blood pressure to rise. This is a not so simple subject. For a thorough description on how to do this, get a subscription to the Blaylock Wellness Report (just search the web). Well worth your money.

By all means cut out starchy foods. Pastas, cereals, breads, cakes, pies , french fries etc etc.

Insulin is a powerful hormone. People dont release just how powerful it is. Without it we would die, with too much of it , it kills us slowly. Another name for insulin is the fat storing hormone. Too much insulin can reek utter havoc in our bodies causing a myriad of disorders and symptoms.

Vandium is helpful in lower blood sugar. Chromium improves insulins effeciency , garlic (kyolic brand) decreases and stabalizes blood sugar levels, L- carnitine L- glutamine and taurine help to reduce cravings for sugar, aids in the proper release of insulin and mobilizes fat storage, zinc defeciency has been linked to diabetes, co enzyme 10 improves circulation and stabalizes blood sugar. Magnesium is helpful for diabetes. Manganese repairs the pancreas.

Basically if you get a great vitamin and mineral supplement ( not this centrum crap ) something good, it will help. Go to your local health food store and find a good multivitamin. Then on top of it, get some co enzyme 10 and some extra amino acids those are taurine and the L glutamine and L carnitine. I would also get some extra chromium. And never forget your essential fatty acids, omega 3 and 6's. Those you can never have enough off and they help tremendously with your problem.

I dont know your location, but my health food store carries a multivitamin called * Alive* its outstanding. Ask for it.

Good luck!

diets, stay away from foods that have a lot of carbohydrates, and regular sugar.
