The john frieda frizz control stuff works great to straighten hair and any acrylic hair straightner will do just fine.
it is hard to tell since i can't see your hair, so i would recommend going to a nearby salon
I bought my hair straightener at Sally's Beauty Supply. I got a black person's hair straightener (i'm white) and it works great!! It has like 30 settings and ceramic plates. I can't remember the brand though. It was like $50. The cheap ones you get at like Target or Walmart are not going to work if you have really curly or frizzy hair so don't waste your money on them. I also use BioSilk. It makes your hair shiny and reduces frizz. It's kinda greasy so you only need a little bit. Good luck!!
Use the Chi straightener (get ready to ay $200) it is worth every penny.
