Tried & proven way to quickly lose weight around stomach area ? i know diet & ex!

I used to be really BIG in that area, from 30 inches, i'm now 25-26.I combine logical diet & exercise. Logical means eating a balance diet, less on the fatty & carbo-rich foods but not removing them. In my experience, the ONLY two exercises that guarantee a trim waist-hip area are the DOUBLE ABDOMINAL CRUNCH and the half or low bicycle in the air, w/ some calisthenics to burn calories. But the real key here is DISCIPLINE. You have to be determined. Unfortunately, there are no short cuts unless you have the money to go under the knife or get a lipo. But even if you do have the money, i won't advise anyone to do that still because the benfits of a healthy diet and exercise are way beyond having a small waist-hip. It provides you w/ a healthy outlook in life, slows the aging process, etc., etc., etc.. I have been reading books, magazines and what-have-yous. Believe me. my advise works. Try BELLY-dancing if you find the crunches hard at times. but always do crunches. Check out health magazines or experts on the proper way of doing so. Remember have fun! And be PATIENT. You will see results after two or three months. It may not be significant but it's a good motivation for you. Ciao.

To lose weight you gotta lose it over your whole body.
To tone that area buy a video called 8 minute abs. It really does work. You do exercises in 30 second increments. Do the video twice a day and if you're not seriously overweight, you'll see muscles form in a few weeks! It's a great workout. To lose weight overall, do some cardio. Treadmill, ski machine, aerobics class.

hi! ok, first of all, drinks heaps of water but reduce your salt intake (as this can bloat you pretty badly). crunches are the best to put muscle behind the stomach, and also (i know this sounds weird) but take 5 mins out of the day and suck your tummy in and hold it for 30 seconds, release and repeat (this helps to flatten the tummy under the belly button). i really hope this helps and u are happy again soon. go out and have fun :)

Trueblue is dead wrong, the truth is diet and exercise is the best way to go, drink a **** loan of water (that helps) and also drink green tea (there is a chemical in there which helps the body get rid of fat)

You can't target specific areas for weight loss no matter what people say. You can do crunches and all that do-ha-ha, but you're only building the muscle and not burning a lot of fat (more muscle = a higher metabolism, but doesn't involve a lot of immediate calorie burning). So, you would have the fat pouch at the belly with muscle hidden underneath. The only way to lose weight is by reducing your BMR by 500 and burning a lot of calories. That's done oftentimes with cardio though just plain walking is really effective too. You'll lose weight all over starting with the chest and eventually your tummy will get smaller too. The best thing to do is to combine muscle building workouts and cardio.
