I've been having severe pains in my body, doctor says Fibromyalgia. All tests ne!

Question:
I am a 32 year old female and have been suffering with pain throughout my body for over 2 years. Only treatment available in U.S. is pain medications, No Cure. MRI's, Bloodtests, X-rays, EMG all negative. Some doctors have told me that the term Fibromyalgia is used to put people with pain (that do not have any positive results for any tests or exams) into a category.
Answers:
Unfortunately, there is no cure. Its a lifetime condition that you will need to learn to manage effectively if you want any relief. That is what my doctor told me when I was diagnosed. It sounds like a terrible life sentence, but there are loads of support groups and help out there.

Also, try the following links - they are informative and I find them very useful:

One final comment - be aware of people recommending various multi-level marketing herbs and vitamins. I'm not saying they don't work, I'm just cautioning you to take everything they say with a pinch of salt. ;)
