Has anyone tried a Sleep Number Bed or a Tempurpedic?!

We need a new mattress and some of the commercials look so promising.any truth to them?

I have had chronic back, hip, shoulder and neck pain for years. I bought a memory foam mattress on ebay for about 400.00 for a queen size, and I have never slept better. I don't wake up with pain from sleeping anymore. I really notice the difference if I sleep anywhere else, then I really miss my bed! I hear the sleep number beds are good, but I don't know of anyone personally who has one. One thing you can do is to go to a mall or mattress store, and try out the beds yourself. Ebay was the best price by far, and www.sportsmansguide.com also has good prices on them as well. Good luck!
