Question:
I have had sinus problems along with allergies since a child.I perforated my ear drum while flying.since then it has been an on-going problem..just got over a bad head cold, so now sinus are blocked along with my ear that is blocked (whooshing sound sometimes)steam helps but when ear becomes really full it makes me dizzy (vertigo)..I use AntiVert..and sudafed..steam.any more help would be appreciated
Answers:
Sounds like you need to go see an ENT (Ear Nose Throat) doctor, one that is specialized enough to do surguries. The ear and sinuses are connected, which is why your problems are mixed. Sudafed will help short term. I assume you have taken many antibiotics for Sinusitis, with it returning a few weeks/months later. Go see and ENT.

Try a vicks vaporizer with vicks solution it works bettter than the average vaporizer.

Horseradish and garlic tabs are good for sinus problem as is keeping the immune system strong. look for remedies and supplements that are containing, echinacea, Astragalus, Golden Seal, dandelion, Vit c, Vit a, Vitb complex, iron, Zinc, calcium. Use a saline solution to flush your sinuses daily and inhale steam with Tea Tree Oil or Eucalyptus in to break up mucus and expell it. Avoid known food triggers, dairy, fatty foods, wheat and gluten, refined sugar. It would pay to go to a Naturopath and get tested for your food allergens, it will make a massive difference.
