Why do I always feel dehydrated? What is wrong with me?!

Question:
Lately I feel dehydrated alot. My lips are always dry, my skin is dryer, etc. I wake up with super chapped lips and a dried out mouth..the way you feel after drinking alcohol, but Ive quit drinking for almost 1.5 years. I drink tons of water to try to combat this, but I just pee it out literally 15 minutes later. On top of this, at night, often times my heart beats harder. Not faster, HARDER..like it is about to burst out of my chest sometimes. Plus, Ive been taking propecia for about 2.5 years. It stopped the hair loss, but for the past 6 months or so my hair has started to fall out again. What could be wrong with me? Im a 25 year old guy that goes to the gym. Im in good shape. Is there such a thing as a medical condition that blocks water absorbtion or something? Could it be adverse long term effects from the propecia? Ive read about guys feeling like crap after taking that for over a year.Any help here?
Answers:
Some medications dehydrate you. You should tell your doctor and also maybe get checked for diabetes. You really should ask your doctor though that is the best advice I can give you.

Other Answers:
These are not listed as side effects of propecia. They sound like a diabetic with very high sugar levels. If you know a diabetic, ask him or her to test your blood sugar level or see your doctor.

Try sleeping with a humidifier.
Also, you may want to have a Doctor check your blood glucose. You may have the beginning stages of Diabetes.
If, after drinking a glass of water, your thirst doesn't go away; eat a banana. The potassium will satisfy that craving for H20.

do you also suffer from low back pain and possible weakness in the knees? do you find it difficult to switch off your thoughts at night? if so i think that you should go to see a chinese medicine practitioner. the symptoms you have mentioned indicate that your kidneys and heart are not acting harmoniosly and the quality of your blood is not what it could be. these things are impacting on the overall health of your body. dont panic this is not a dangerous situation. a chinese medical practitioner would give you acupuncture and herbs to restore the harmony of your body and get rid of the symptoms (including hair loss) . also if you should try to avoid eating spicy food until the symptoms clear up. it is important to find a practitioner that is qualified and who is accreddited to an appropriate professional body ( in the UK the ATCM is the best , they have a website where you can get more information and search for a practitioner in your area). the treatment may take about eight - twelve sessions of acupuncture once or twice a week. additionally you should definately go to see your GP to check you are not diabetic or suffering from any hormonal inbalences.
