Would incline bicep curls help with these various activities?!

Question:
Would inline bicep curls help with armwrestling?
Would these make one-handed chinups easier?
Is there any value in doing bicep curls with your upper arm parallel to the ground as opposed to 45 degrees from paralell to the ground?
Answers:
Arm wrestling is extremely damaging to your arms. One handed chin-ups do not benefit you anymore than two arm chin-ups. In addition to that, doing one arm chin-ups is an invitation to un-necessary injury and pain. And for your last question, you would benefit more by doing a full bicep curl slowly and properly than parallel or 45 degrees. Hope this helps you.

yes most likely. i do upper body mon.+weds. but it will do alot for armwrestling. i dont think they'll make chinups easier that is a matter of bodyweight.for the last part that would be a HELL NO.

yea the first one nailed it

Biceps curls. ok To answer your first question arm wrestling -- minimal -- most of the action in arm wrestling is internal rotation of the shoulder. The biceps help to pull the hand toward the shoulder at the elbow joint, and they also rotate (supinate the forearm) at the elbow joint, not to rotate the upper arm at the shoulder . the muscles that rotate the shoulder are the appropriately called rotator cuff muscles.. Since your hand is already supinated when you start the match when you are winning , strong biceps help finish it.. when you are losing its all shoulder..

One handed chinups. yes biceps curls help. they are secondary movers. the lats are the primary movers on one handed chinups.

there is very little value in keeping your humerus (upper arm) parallel to the ground while performing a biceps curl. Why? the long head of the biceps attaches to the head of the humerus where it joins with the scapula. therefore is shortens the length of the range of motion for the long head of the two biceps, and keeps you from activating more muscle tissue.. if you use gravity resistance (dumbbells barbells) it is even less effective in that position because the weight cannot oppose the direction of force properly..

I don't knowwwwwwwww
