Mascara always smudges or runs on me no matter what I try.. and advice?!

Even the waterproof ones make me look like a racoon by the afternoon.

Do you use concealer or base before putting on your eye makeup? If so, check the label. If there is alot of oil in the concealer or base, it could aid in creating smudges. even from mascara. Go for a base that contains mostly water and be sure to put a dusting of powder on your eyes prior to applying your eye make-up.
Something else. Do you have allergies or watery eyes? If your eyes have been itching you may be rubbing them without even really being aware of it.

I have never had a waterproof mascara run, unless I was crying.
I personally use Revlon Lash Fantasy, which comes with a primer coat that goes on first. It seems to work well.

You could have oily skin on your eyelids. Use pressed powder to help, and during the day, use a cotton swab to clean up any oil. You also could be smudging your eyeliner, which also can "drip" onto your lower lids as the day wears on.
I don't exactly know how u are gona take this but if u don't have it fake it.
Try lash extensions, they are kind of a hassle n they also take time but its better than having smudged mascara when u want to look ur best.
Band lashes are a lot more easier to apply but remember to cut off excess off its inner part to suit your eyes.
But of course, u can't wear false eyelashes everyday so try applying just one coat on and make sure u use an eyelash curler. If u want to go for a second coat, try this, use a makeup brush and lightly dust some loose powder over your lashes after the first coat before u apply the second.

I would make sure the mascara you are buying says "touchproof" or "smudgeproof" as well as waterproof. It makes a big difference as well to buy quality mascara, in my opinion MaxFactor is the best of the best. You might try carrying a concealer wand with you to touch up under your eyes if this keeps happening. The most important thing for you to remember, though, is to:
stop rubbing your eyes! Seriously, just don't do it.
If you are putting lotion on your entire face.stop putting it on your eyelids and eyelashes! The oils from the lotion will cause even waterproof mascara to run! I don't know why but the oils work as a removing agent for makeup! I used to wear waterproof and I finally got tired of scrubbing my eyelashes so I tried baby oil.it came right off.no problem! So try to avoid putting any sort of "oils" or moisturizers in the eyes area!
