Gee, I am not sure that there is much of a difference between homosexuals' mental health and the rest of us people out here. If you are having trouble with your mental health, don't try and treat it yourself onlien - go and get yourself to a counselor and talk in person.
Are you considering it a mental health problem because the person is gay?
Um..I'm really not sure, but I don't think Gay people have any different thoughts that normal people..but I think people with mental health problems just need a friend..So if you ever need help, I'm here! I love gay people! They're awesome!

You seem to have a few misconceptions. I am a licensed mental health counselor. I can tell you that there is no valid research to support the claim you're making. It *is* true that gays experience more discrimination in US society than straights - but since 1973, homosexuality has not been seen as a mental health issue and there is no research to imply that homosexuals have different neurobiology than heterosexuals. I would urge you to contact a mental health counselor in your area and seek resources and/or a consultation to ask the questions you have. No ethical counselor will have a single negative issue with your homosexuality
