Question:
I have looked up several phobias, but can not find any relating to fear of static electricitly or being shocked. I know there is electrophobia, but that is not really what this is. I am seeing a therapist and am on anti-anxiety meds. It seems most people are afraid of spider, snakes, etc, but I have not found anyone who also shares this phobia. Please open up if you do. Thank you!

I have a fear of getting shocked only at work. I am always getting shocked there, so I've started an odd process where I tap on the door handle with one hand and the door with another everytime I use a door at work. It looks odd, and I get funny looks for it. I just don't want a big shock to zap my heart at work and the idiots I work with trying to do CPR on me.

Look I really have a phobia of being scared of spiders and snakes and I don't even know what the phobia is called, somtimes I really get scared of electric shock but it happens all the time so I'm no more scared of it!
My mom doesnt have the fear, but yesterday in the mall she got shocked by every piece of clothing she touched haha.
