Do you worry about your grandchildren?!

Question:
I don't just worry, I have nightmares! And I know they are fine! I have what I call 'mini-nightmares', that make me sit straight up in bed. Like, one falling off of a cliff, or into water (I can't swim!) I jump in after them! I call my daughters and tell them, 'YES, MOM.' They don't understand. What is going on?
Of course, if I see a news cast of a child hurt, I do the same thing.
OR, hear a poor child SCREAMING in a store at 10 o'clock at night..HELP!!
Answers:
I think you may be afraid that you have not raised your own children good enough to raise thier children. This is a matter of your own insecurities. Have a little faith in yourself. They'll be fine.

Other Answers:
I worry one day I may have them

You're in the early stages of something serious. I suggest you get some thick foam rubber at a mattress store and cover your walls NOW, while you still can.

all the time, ditz. my daughter may lose hers permanently and i'm told that washington state doesn't allow for grandparents' rights.so i may never see them again. so, worry. oh, hell yeah. know what i mean?

Think about the future, but don't worry about it. There's nothing you can do anyway.

I have had a couple of nightmears about my eldest grandchild.I think that we love our grandkids as much as our kids~ I think that because we are not in control of their upbringing like our kids, that anxiety comes out at night when we sleep. I am 38 and going on my 4th grandkid.
