Ok for the last two days I have been feeling like the room is spinning, why?!

Question:
Since 6 am yesterday morning i have been feeling dizzy, with the room spinning. I do not take any medication, not even asprin, and I do not drink at all. It does it when i am standing and even when i am sitting still doing nothing. It started off at just about 30 seconds and now it will last for a few minuteseach time. Also once in a while i will be shaking uncontrolably. I have talk to several people I am not sure what to think, should I let it just pass or should I go to the ER? If anyone can tell me what is wrong that would be GREAT! One more thing, this has been going on for the last two days anywhere from every couple of hours to 3 or 4 time within 45 minutes. I also went on the web site webmd.com and it did not really tell me what the problem was.
Answers:
Sounds like vertigo to me. It's an awful sensation. Go to the doctor soon: it is probably caused by an inner ear problem.
Be careful when climbing the stairs, meanwhile.
But see a doctor soon. It will not go away by itself.

Low blood sugar maybe? Have you changed your diet lately, or are you on any medications that would induce motion simulation possibly? See your primary care physician if it bothers you or interferes with operating a car or machinery I would say.

Most likely inner ear infection or vertigo. Vertigo test - look straight up at ceiling - are you still standing probably inner ear. Go to doctor. Good luck.

ear infection

I would go to the ER because there are just too many options to even hazard a definitive guess as to what could be going on. It could be as simple as an inner ear infection (yes you can have one even if you don't have an earache), diabetes, minier's disease, or something even more serious going on in the brain.

I wouldn't take any chances, get it checked out.

well it could be a number of things!..maybe you just need to eat something..that does it to me sometiems..or you might have either Too High or Too low blood sugar..or your blood pressure could be really high!..if this keeps going on you probably should go to the doctor..soon!..Good Luck

I'm an EMT.Well' it's am EMT-B which means basic, but yes you should see a doctor or some one who can take down more detailed information about your physical well-being. See someone.
