has anyone professionally bleached their teeth before.help!?!

Question:
i'm using day/white9%(you leave on for a hour)and i've noticed these white streaks on several of my teeth.there're not really noticalbe unless i point them out.on one tooth, next to the left front tooth,it's Deeply streaked and on the right front tooth it's deeply streaked, but not stained as bad ,looks like a slash throughout the tooth. it's very visible once i take the tray out.i was thinking about getting a stronger solution to even it out and speed up the process.i talked to the hygenist but she was pretty vague about the streaks. She claims they might have already been there and the solutiion brought it out, whatever, that doesn't sound right to me. she recommended that i swish the solution around so it's not concentrated in one area, which i've been doing for a while, but the streaks are still there.anyway, are these streaks permanent?it kinda defeats the purpose of bleaching, if i have whiter sreaks than my bleach job.i don't want to ruin the enamel by shaving the area or anything
Answers:
Streaks may be what we call craze lines, small fractures in your teeth where the acid penetrates more, usually this is not noticable. If you plastice fillings in your front teeth you should not be bleaching, unless you are aware that the bleach can penetrate any weakly bonded plastic (white) filling anc cause it to stand out. If this is the case your bleaching is about to cost you a lot more. This is a pet peeve of mine, You need to know these things before your a sold these things. If you bought yout bleach OTC, then read the tiny little print in the packaging.
