ok well i had a transpalnt and hav taken many otc meds with a healthy kidney, i did loose the kidney but it was because i wasnt taking my anti rejection meds..Always take those! i cannot stress that enough, im 23 and on dialysis, my life is all dr.s and medical stuff i want to work get married and have kids but dont feel good enuf too, hoping for another kidney soon and belive me i will take my meds!
