Exercise every day, don't eat sweets, don't drink sodas. The best exercise for losing weight is cardio workouts where you increase your heart rate for an extended time (running, cycling, etc) . at least 20-30 minutes every day!

To lose weight, you need to focus on a few things. First of all, doing Bench Press and Curls will not make you lose weight.

You need to move as many muscle groups as possible in one excercise to lose weight. Some excercise such as that are, SQAUTS, LUNGES, LUNGES combined with SHOULDER PRESS. You need to combine these types of excercise into a fitness program and make sure that your heart rate does NOT drop below 120. So when you take a break, count the heart beats per minute.

You can always do swimming, which is probably a little more effective than running. Aerobics is another one. Using a rowing machine is also another one.

I used to row and that got me in shape. The only problem is that an indoor rowing machine is not only expensive but very few gyms carry it. Anyway work out every other day. The key is persistence. Even if you can only work out 30 minutes a day, that's better than doing a 2 hour work out once a week.

your my mothers size as in height and weight so i would tell you what her doctors told her between 145 nd 155, thats not alot to loose like it sounds, just add some more exersize to your day by simply walking fast pace for about a half hour at first and then work your way up to an hour a day five days a week if you can at least three days a week. then drink eight-eight ounces of water a day, loosen up on the salt, ease up on the out to eat and greacy food, it will take a couple weeks to get your system to recognize what you are doing but the results are good and the best thing about loosing weight naturaly is that it stays off, with pills it comes right back on when you are done using them and you can end up gaining three time the weight back wich is horrible! so increase water veggies and fruits eat what you want but in moderation, make your breakfast the biggest meal of the day and eat small the rest of the day. yo can do it.

Yes you are over weight. to tell the truth your a little bit over obesity.To be a normal weight you need to lose about 40 pounds. Now don't rush losing this weight because that can cause your body serious damage. But also dont say that is to much to lose because it is not. You just have to take it slow do alot of exercising like riding bikes, swimming, and walking. You should contact your doctor and see about a diet plan. Because with your weight you might need to cut back to a certain amount of calories per day. I wont tell you a diet plan because your doctor might have a different diet on his mind.
