When my nose starts to run, does that mean that I'm getting better and will be getting over the flu soon? What does it mean when my nose runs? Also, it's normal for my inner ears to itch right? Must have to do with my the sinus?

The common cold isn't that common as it is a collection of viruses . Yes it is normal for your inner ears to itch caused by the blockage of the eustachan (sp) tube.
