If you haven't tried proactive or another type of skin treatment, then if your acne is very VERY bad maybe you should talk to a dermatologist. I went on Accutane for 6 months, and it has worked marvelously! But therer are some side effects and risks you need to take into consideration.

Clean it regularly. And don't touch your face! If you must wash your hands first. The oils in our hands causes the most acne.

The best thing to do is go to a dermatologist to find out what type of acne you have. If it is particularly bad they can give you a prescription. I recommend not using minocycline or accutane. Those can cause MAJOR health problems. Topical solutions such as Differin or Duac worked wonders for me. It is also important to keep your hands away from your face and don't pop zits.
Proactive only works for a short period of time. If you stop using it they will come right back. Going on birth control can also balance out your hormones and reduce acne.
If I knew I would have given a patent for it. See a skin specialist. It might help.

I tried Proactive and all kind of creams but none worked so i started to wash my face with water as hot as I could stand it in my face and I wash my Face every time i go in the Bathroom and it worked. Maybe it would work for you too try it.

the contraceptive pill Dianette is great for acne,but not cool if youre prone to depression as that can be one of the side effects.any cream from your pharmacist containing salicyclic acid is good too.Hope this helps.There is a medicine that your doctor can prescribe,Roaccutane,but its what they ultimately give you when theyve tried everything else,and you have to be monitored on it as it has a long list of side effects.x
