Can I get it from a finger stick hole in my finger?!

I was getting my blood tested for high blood pressure and the nurse picked up the wrong cotton ball by mistake I think. Im not even sure, I don't know or not if the lady in front of me had any diseases. I want to know can I get it through a finger stick hole in my finger or am I ok?
