what can help get blood flow back into legs that might become paralyzed?!

Question:
what helps get the feeling back?
Answers:
NO MASSAGE!

DONT massage!
If a blood cloth has formed and blocks the blood flow, a massage might losen it and it might move on and cause a stroke!
Get into an upright positon (lean on desk/cruches) and see a doc!

What do you mean by might become paralyzed? If your legs are feeling numb and you can't walk you really need to see a doctor. Are your legs swelling? Please see your doctor, I would suggest massage but if you don't know what the problem is that may not be even good for you. SEE A DR ASAP

just my opinion

a proper massage can be helpful
may be

massage and proper movings of the part that is paralyzed

Depending on your age, it sounds more like you have a spinal condition. That funny sensation is the nerves usually, not the blood flow. If the blood was not flowing your feet would turn blue/black. Don't sleep with your legs curled up under you or just straighten your legs and that should solve the problem - otherwise I need more info

Being paralyzed does not effect blood flow in the legs. If it did, there would be a lot of paraplegics without legs.

Compression stockings. Ted stockings. Exercise. Capsicum helps restore blood flow & so does Ginko Biloba. Try massaging your legs.

If it's a spinal cord issue, you may never get feeling back sweetie :0( physical therapy can help restore blood flow if you have been bed ridden for awhile. If you can't afford it, then do this simple excercises: Take a sheet and wrap it around your foot, pull as hard as you can to bend your knee up as far as you can, repeat until tired, then do the other leg. if you can't do it have someone else do it for you for awhile until you can. massage every day, as often as possible. be determined, don't give up cuz it's too hard, or your not getting results, it may take time. muscles do what's called atrophy when they sit too long without movement ( i don't know if this is your case, just trying to help) meaning they disappear and weaken, you need to build their strength again, if this is in fact the case. that's what it sounds like. good luck!

physical therapy after a coma

There are a couple of things you can try. One is physical therapy provided by a friend or relative to your legs. A deep penetrating warm massage will activate blood flow. You may also consider acupuncture to activate activity in that area. Most of all.PRAY!! Trust in God to carry you through this. Hope this helps you.

a doctor may help with this more then us in here. You need to see whet the problem is I have had this problem and ended up with a surgery and then my leg almost had to be cut off. My problem was very serious and your may or may not be that bad.
