Question:

Answers:
If food has already been cooked, and any uneaten portions promptly refrigerated, and only taken out when you're ready to eat the rest, then it should be perfectly fine.

i eat it all the time

i've done it for yrs. i'm 32. been eating cold pizza and chicken since i was a kid. i've never had any problems, not even an upset stomach.

yes it's ok. it's just a matter of personal taste. no health implications

AS long as the chicken is cooked and refrigerated. Otherwise you could get salmonella if left out too long.

If the reason they are cold is that they have been in the refrigerator than I think it is ok. If they have been out for a long time than no.

Not that I know of, when the food is cooked to the proper temp, it kills any Bacteria; i.e. ecoli, avian flu, etc. BUT, remember, there could be bacteria that becomes present after cooking, so, I guess you should refrigerate stuff for later. I leave food out through the day to eat on more in the winter than summer. BUT, at bed time it goes in the fridge. I have never had a problem. Bonn Appetite! ;-)

Yes, no problems as long as it is good to begin with, I do it and I am still alive.

You can only get salmonella poisoning from raw meat, but any cooked food should not be eaten after 6-14 days. Usually meats are OK up to 7 days after being cooked if refrigerated afterward, it is important to keep it in an air tight container. It is air more than the temperature that will infect food with bacteria that could make you sick. Any chicken should be cooked until the interior temperature reaches at least 150 degrees Fahrenheit for 15-25 minutes cold chicken should be fine as long as it was cooked well in the first place. There are very few single-cell lifeforms that can live in that type of heat for more than about 10 minutes. You can also freeze the food once it is cooked(also in an airtight container) because most single-cell life forms cannot handle the extreme cold either.
