Has anybody tried Nurtisystem or Medifast?!

Question:
I was just wondering how regemented it was and some idea of the cost?
Answers:
Yes I have been on the Medifast Diet. I have lost 25 lbs. so far. You will lose weight quickly with little or no exercise. It was recommended by my Dr. and it is healthy. They teach you to eat 5-6 small meals a day every 2-3 hours so you speed up your metabolism. One of your meals must consist of 7 oz. of lean protein and 2 1/2 cups of vegetables. There is a variety of foods to choose from such as shakes, bars, soups, pudding, chili and more. And,they taste pretty good and you can season them anyway you like. It took me about a week to get a good eating plan going but, is working great and is EASY. I managed to workk it in my busdget and I will spend no more than $223.xx EVERY month. And, I stick within that budget. It is well worth it they guarantee you will lose up to 20 lbs. a month. All your nutrients are in the food. If you need a Buddy, just e-mail me. GOOD LUCK!

Other Answers:
i have known people who have tried nutrisystem. it costs about $300 a month (less if you sign up to automatically receive your food each month) and you can choose what you want to eat. one of my friends lost 30 pounds on it in only a couple of months. another lost 20 in about a month and a half. you choose three meals (plus one snack or dessert) for twenty eight days and they ship it directly to you. if you stick to it and exercise (and don't eat anything but what they have planned), then you will definitely lose weight.

the very first thing you should be asking yourself is: did i gain this weight merely by bad eating habits or is this emotional eating? If its the latter, then you must identify what you feel is really missing from your life, then work on solving that. you cannot keep lost weight off if you aint fixed your minds' problem. A fasting diet is tough for the first week, then gets easier cause you have NO choices. drink the powder 5 times a day. powder will cost you at least 60 a week, plus whatever fees for the program. weekly doctor visits, and hopefully some educational classes.
